NHL Bets of the Day: Best Hockey Picks Today 6/15/21

Nikita Kucherov, Tampa Bay Lightning vs. New York Islanders

Over 1.5 points (+140)

The Tampa Bay Lightning play the New York Islanders on Tuesday night as the Stanley Cup semifinal series continues in Tampa Bay. Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov has been hot with seven points in his last four games, including two goals and five assists. He’s also averaged 1.6 points per game this postseason with at least one point in 10 of 12 games.

After notching an assist in Game 1, Kucherov should be able to generate more scoring chances in Game 2. With five multi-point efforts this postseason, Kucherov remains a threat to go off for two or more points on Tuesday night in what is a must-win game for the Lightning. The best players make the best impressions in situations like this, which is why I’m taking the over here.

Tampa Bay On Moneyline To Win Game 2 (-200)

Tampa Bay is currently at -200 to win Game 2 on the moneyline, which is a little high but still a good bet. While New York has been a pretty solid road team in the playoffs, Tampa Bay bounced back with a win after dropping its home opener in each of the previous two rounds. Look for the Lightning to do the same here and bet them on the moneyline tonight.
