Stefon Diggs 2021 Fantasy Football Outlook
Stefon Diggs was a beast in his first year with the Buffalo Bills, earning his first Pro Bowl selection despite the unusual pandemic-influenced offseason. In addition to his NFL-leading targets, receptions, and receiving yards totals featured above, Diggs impressed from an advanced metrics standpoint as well.
According to Pro Football Reference, he ranked tied for 26th with Davante Adams, Mike Evans, and Randall Cobb in yards per target (9.2) among qualified pass-catchers. Additionally, according to Pro Football Focus, he ranked fifth in yards per route run (2.5) among all receivers (min. 75 targets). Accordingly, Diggs’ blend of efficiency and volume bodes well for his 2021 fantasy football outlook.
His instant chemistry with Josh Allen and the return of offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is also ideal. The Daboll, Allen, and Diggs trio made sweet music in a pass-happy offense that scored the second-most points in the NFL last year. There’s little reason for the Bills to fix what isn’t broken, so look for them to air it out with regularity and light up scoreboards again this year.

Stefon Diggs 2021 Fantasy Football Draft Value (PPR)
Assuming Allen’s massive improvement as a passer last year was for real, Diggs could be in line for another monster season. He’s Buffalo’s unquestioned top receiver with room for growth if his chemistry actually improves in year two with Allen. I currently have him ranked as the top overall wide receiver, narrowly edging out Tyreek Hill and Davante Adams, but Adams will have the edge if Aaron Rodgers ends his holdout and returns to the Green Bay Packers.
