Jokić was a scoring machine in the first round against the Trail Blazers, registering at least 34 points in five of the six games. He was clearly the focal point of Denver’s offense, averaging 23.7 field-goal attempts per game. With Jamal Murray (knee) still out, Jokić should continue to receive all of the scoring opportunities he can handle, making the over an appealing option despite this big number.

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets

Over 29.5 Points (-115)

Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)

With Chris Paul battling a shoulder injury, Booker has had to carry a greater scoring load on offense. He responded by exceeding 30 points in four of the six games against the Lakers in the first round, including a whopping 47 points in the decisive Game 6. After averaging 20.2 field-goal attempts per game in the first round, Booker should continue to see the kind of shot volume that allows him to hit the over here.

Brook Lopez, Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets

Over 13.5 Points (-125)

Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.78 units)

Player Prop

Brook Lopez To Score Over 13.5 Points (Bucks @ Nets)

As bad as the Bucks looked in Game 1 against the Nets, most of their troubles came from behind the arc. Lopez clearly had a size advantage down low, which helped propel him to 19 points in 28 minutes. As well as Blake Griffin played in that contest, he’s not big enough to hang with Lopez on the defensive end. I’ll take a chance on the over here as Milwaukee looks to even the series before heading back home.
