May 14 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Luka Dončić, Dallas Mavericks vs. Toronto Raptors
Under 8.5 Assists (-130)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.77 units)
I don’t normally like to take unders because they aren’t much fun to root for during a game. However, this one stands out as a wager to consider. Dončić has logged eight or fewer assists in nine of his last 10 games. He’s even recorded five or fewer in three of his previous four games, but all three of those contests had lopsided scores. We could be looking at another blowout here with the Raptors resting all of their top players.
Dillon Brooks, Memphis Grizzlies vs. Sacramento Kings
Over 19.5 Points (-125)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.8 units)
The Kings have the worst defensive rating in the league, so this is an ideal matchup for the scoring-minded Brooks. He scored 30 points in a win against them Thursday and came away with 22 points in their prior meeting this season. There’s a chance that the Grizzlies could rest a Ja Morant and/or Jonas Valančiūnas for this game, which could open up more shot attempts for Brooks. However, even if they play, this is still a favorable situation for Brooks to hit the over.
Kyle Anderson, Memphis Grizzlies vs. Sacramento Kings
Over 12.5 Points (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
This seems like a low number for Anderson to hit the over on. Not only are the Kings a horrible defensive team, but Anderson has scored at least 13 points in eight of his last nine games. Jaren Jackson Jr. will likely sit out this game for rest, which could afford Anderson even more playing time.
