Seahawks Bills Players to Watch

SEA QB Russell Wilson will once again be under the spotlight with his top three RB options all on the injury report. Wilson has thrown for three-plus TDs in his two games out of the bye and the Bills defense has allowed two-plus passing TDs in five of its eight 2020 contests.

His top target SEA WR DK Metcalf is coming off his best game of the season with 12 catches for 161 yards and two TDs. Buffalo has been good against WRs, giving up six total touchdowns and less than 150 receiving yards in six of eight games this season, meaning it won’t be so easy for DK on Sunday.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Bills CB Tre’Davious White will cover Metcalf or elite teammate Tyler Lockett.

Seahawks Bills Bet Tips: Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs set to fly in Week 9?
Bills QB Josh Allen and WR Stefon Diggs have been an elite combo in 2020. (USA Today Sports

BUF QB Josh Allen faces a Seahawks defense that has allowed at least 320 passing yards and two TDs to opposing QBs in both of their games since coming off the bye in Week 6. But Allen has gone for less than 300 passing yards in four of his last five games (the lone over was against the Jets) meaning it might be his legs that make the difference in this one. With at least 8 carries in each of his last three games, we could see Allen be active on the ground again Sunday.

BUF WR Stefon Diggs remains the best receiver on the Bills and he gets a susceptible Seahawks D that has allowed more than 200 yards per game along with 4 receiving TDs to WRs over the past two weeks. Another big game is likely for Diggs, it’s a question of when this production will occur — as the Bills take an early lead or in comeback mode.

Seahawks Bills Weather Report

Seahawks Bills Bet Tips

BEST BET: Seahawks -2.5 (-121)

I don’t love that this number is being juiced, but it also says the book doesn’t want it to hit 3.

Yes, I hate that the Seahawks are traveling to Buffalo, but the Bills just had trouble beating a Patriots team that has lost four straight. Give me the Super Bowl contender minus the points, despite the west-to-east travel.

CONSIDER: Over 55 (-110)

This Over/Under is screaming for you to bet it.

We have two teams here that have hit the Over five times this season. They’re teams “known for" defense but the offenses are putting up points with Seattle averaging a league-leading 34.3 points per game and Buffalo putting up 24.8 PPG. I’ll lean to the over here.

PASS: Bills +2.5 (+100)

Even though we get even money here, I don’t think it’s worth it. If you want the Bills, take them as a home dog at +130 moneyline odds.
