April 28 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers at Washington Wizards
Over 21.5 Points (-120)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.83 units)
Davis has yet to top 20 points across three games since returning from a calf injury. However, his playing time increased with each contest, topping out with him logging 31 minutes and scoring 18 points against the Magic on Monday. The Wizards don’t have much quality size up front and have played at the fastest pace in the league, so if Davis can play over 30 minutes again, he could blow by this number.
Joe Ingles, Utah Jazz at Sacramento Kings
Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Ingles is coming off of a rough two games against the Timberwolves in which he shot a combined 4-for-23 from the field. He’s shooting 50.8 percent from the field for the season, though, so don’t expect this slump to last for very long. The Jazz will be playing without Donovan Mitchell (ankle) and Mike Conley Jr. (hamstring) against a Kings team that has the worst defensive rating in the league, which could leave Ingles primed to both play heavy minutes and have an expanded role within the offense.
Cole Anthony, Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers
Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
If there is a bright side to the Magic tearing down their team at the trade deadline, it’s that they’ve been able to give Anthony an expanded role down the stretch. He’s started each of the last six games, averaging 30 minutes per contest during that span. The result was him recording at least 25 combined points, rebounds and assists five times. With plenty of playing time likely on tap for this matchup, the over here is appealing.
