Jets 2021 NFL Draft Bet
After surprise victories over the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns, the New York Jets missed out on the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. However, with the No. 2 and 23 overall selections, the Jets have plenty of options in the first round.

Which Team Will Draft Justin Fields?: New York Jets (+2500)
As mentioned above, the foregone conclusion remains that Wilson will be the No. 2 overall selection on draft night. Wilson’s -2500 odds on BetMGM would only cash an 80 cent gain if he is selected No. 2 overall.
However, surprises have happened before. Remember when the world was certain that Sam Darnold would be a Cleveland Brown just one week before draft day in 2018?
The Justin Fields slander is completely overblown. He loves football. He fought to get the Big 10 back after being canceled due to COVID-19. At one point not too long ago, Fields was considered the consolation prize for Lawrence.
Is GM Joe Douglas smart enough to put out a gigantic smokescreen declaring his love for Wilson? Probably not. But, at these odds, if you’ve got the extra cash and an itch for a draft night surprise, betting on Fields to the Jets is the play.
Najee Harris Draft Position: UNDER 29.5 (-105)
Over the last several days, it seems as if pundits and mock-drafters assume that no running backs will be selected in the first round. Despite this, there are too many teams that could use help at the position in the late first round, especially with that extra fifth-year control.
Even if Alabama running back Najee Harris is not the selection to the Jets at No. 23 overall, this is still a somewhat safe pick for New York bettors to make. At No. 24, the Pittsburgh Steelers also need a running back and the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars could probably use Harris as well.
A backfield consisting of Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson is not scaring anyone. Walking away from the first round with a franchise quarterback and cornerstone running back would be an impressive haul for the Jets.
