Bears 2021 NFL Draft Bet

An 8-8 record and a second-place finish in the NFC North left the Chicago Bears with the No. 20 overall selection.

Surely, this is an important draft pick for Chicago, who is presumably rolling with Andy Dalton as their starting quarterback, to close the gap between the Green Bay Packers. Selecting at No. 20 overall likely takes the Bears out of the running for a top quarterback prospect unless there’s a big slip or a trade up.

Here are a few potentially profitable Chicago Bears NFL Draft prop bets to wager on.

Position of Chicago Bears First Drafted Player: Offense (-358)

While I was extremely tempted to play devil’s advocate here due to Chicago’s +250 odds at drafting any defensive player first, that probably is not the likely scenario. Their defense is not the problem.

However, offensively, the future of franchise-tagged wide receiver Allen Robinson II and Anthony Miller are in question. Chicago could opt to draft a first-round weapon to help Dalton thrive or add offensive line help like Teven Jenkins to keep him upright.

While Chicago’s long-term plan at quarterback is still to be seen, drafting an offensive player at least helps prime them for the future.

Total Wide Receivers To Be Drafted In First Round: OVER 4.5 (-228)

A ton of mock drafts have Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman being projected to the Bears at No. 20. With Ja’Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith all likely off the board when the Bears are on the clock, this could be a likely outcome.

After the Bears, there will be twelve more first-round selections. Today’s NFL cherishes speed. If Bateman is selected by the Bears at No. 20, this over will almost certainly hit thanks to prospects like Elijah Moore, Rondale Moore and Kadarius Toney who could all sneak into the late first round.
