April 16 NBA Prop Bet Tips
Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans at Washington Wizards
Over 29.5 Points (-115)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.87 units)
Williamson has been locked in offensively, scoring at least 30 points in six of his last nine games. During that stretch, he’s averaged 34.2 points on 60.8 percent shooting from the field. This is a great matchup for him to keep things rolling against a Wizards team that doesn’t have much quality size up front and has played at the fastest pace in the league. The last time these two teams met, Williamson scored 32 points across 33 minutes.
Christian Wood, Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets
Over 19.5 Points (-130)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.77 units)
Wood has been one of the leaders of the Rockets’ offense, scoring at least 22 points in five of his last six games. The one time he failed to meet that threshold during that stretch, he scored 18 points. What’s even more impressive is that four of his six opponents during that stretch rank inside the top-10 in the league in defensive rating. The Nuggets rank 16th in that department, so I expect Wood to have another big offensive night.
Kelly Olynyk, Houston Rockets vs. Denver Nuggets
Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-112)
Wager: 1 unit (win would pay 1.89 units)
We’ve hit on two of the over for these combined points and rebounds props for Olynyk lately. This line was set at 21.5 on Wednesday and he finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds against the Pacers. With at least 24 combined points and rebounds in each of his last seven games, I’ll go to the well again with the over.
