Here’s your April 7 MLB Bet Tip for 4/7/21 MLB Bets. All odds were obtained from bet365.

I had a solid night on Tuesday, going 4-3 (+1.15 units), hitting on the Mets, Astros, Tigers and Rangers team total while missing on the Pirates, Marlins, and Padres team total.

As always, you can find my bets, including any late additions to the card on my Twitter page @FAmmiranteTFJ. Let’s try to build on yesterday’s positive results.

April 7 MLB Bet Tips

St. Louis Cardinals at Miami Marlins, 4:10 p.m. ET

Probable Pitchers: RHP Jack Flaherty (STL) vs. RHP Pablo Lopez (MIA)

UNDER 7 Runs (+100)

Wager: 1. units (win would pay 1 unit)

The Marlins bats are ice cold right now. If we remove the 12-run eruption against the Rays on April 2, they have only scored seven runs in four games. They have posted an 82 wRC+ (18th) and .084 ISO (27th) against righties so far. The Cardinals bats have also been a bit cold during this series, totaling eight runs in two games while striking out 26 times. The under is 2-0 in this series so far and 3-2 at LoanDepot Park.

Cardinals ace Jack Flaherty has the perfect matchup to bounce back from a poor debut in Cincinnati where he lasted only 4.1 innings, allowing six runs on six hits while walking two and striking out four. Facing an ice-cold lineup in a pitcher’s park should get him back on track.

On the other side, Pablo Lopez is another promising pitcher on this Marlins’ staff. He pitched five shutout innings in his season debut against the Rays, allowing two hits while walking two and striking out four. Lopez was limited to 77 pitches in that start and you have to figure the Marlins let him go a bit deeper into the game today while they try to avoid the sweep.
