I know I said this game would be close, but I don’t know if a 4.5-point spread in favor of Gonzaga is enough to fully encapsulate just how good of a basketball team the Bulldogs are. This Gonzaga team can blow out the Bears without even batting an eye, but the thing is, Baylor is hot and hungry. They simply will not go down without a fight even though they are the clear-cut underdog in this fight. I’m looking at taking Gonzaga spread all the way up to 6 points.
The total is extremely high for Baylor, but is a normal outcome for Gonzaga games. If Gonzaga controls the pace, this game can shoot Over 159.5 points, but if there is any sort of mediation from the Bears, this could go way Under. I wouldn’t necessarily call the Under a strong lean or even a lean for that matter, but merely a prediction for how I believe this game will play out.
