The 2024 Masters Tournament is here, and there’s no tradition quite like betting on props for golf’s first major.

Schauffele is one of my best bets to win The Masters, but admittedly, he doesn’t have the track record of a serial winner like Brooks Koepka or Jordan Spieth.
With that in mind, targeting his finishing props is a wise supplementary investment, especially at plus-money odds.
The 30-year-old has just seven PGA Tour victories, the last coming in 2022, but Schauffele is often in the mix.
He has six top-10 finishes in eight starts this season, rounding out the Florida swing with a T-2 at THE PLAYERS and a T-5 at the Valspar Championship.
The San Diego native’s well-rounded game is perfectly suited to Augusta National, where he has finished inside the top 10 in three of his last five trips.
His history around this place and impeccable recent form make it likely he will extend that record with another good result this weekend.
Scottie Scheffler: First Round Leader (+1200) • DraftKings Sportsbook
Most weeks on the PGA Tour, longshot first-round leader picks have a decent chance of hitting. At Augusta National, that’s less likely to be the case.
Masters champions frequently establish themselves on Thursday, with the last 18 tournament winners ending the first round T-11 or better, per Justin Ray.
The first-round leader also tends to stay in the mix, as we saw last year with the trio of Jon Rahm (winner), Brooks Koepka (T-2), and Viktor Hovland (T-7).
With that in mind, I think this might be the best way to access Scottie Scheffler, unquestionably the best player in the world at the moment.
The 2022 champion’s odds to win a second Green Jacket (+400) are egregious, but he’s likely to be in the mix and is a strong candidate to start quickly.
Scheffler ranks third on the PGA Tour in Round 1 scoring average (67.5) this season and led the category (67.91) during the 2022-23 campaign. He also has a tour-high 24 rounds in the 60s this season, so he’s more than capable of going low, regardless of whether his streaky putter cooperates.
I still don’t particularly love these odds, but they’re better than 4-1.
Wyndham Clark: Top Debutant (+330) • DraftKings Sportsbook
Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg (+275) is the favorite for this prop, which features 20 golfers making their first trip to Augusta National.
I’m backing second-favorite Wyndham Clark, who has arguably been the second-best player on the PGA Tour in recent weeks.
Clark finished runner-up to Scheffler at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and THE PLAYERS in March and won the weather-shortened event at Pebble Beach in February.
The 2023 U.S. Open champion has proven he can compete with the world’s best and has the ball-striking and putting to make a run in his first trip down Magnolia Lane.
Hole-in-one on Hole 16: Yes (-165) • DraftKings Sportsbook
Do you really want to watch The Masters and cheer against a hole-in-one?
I didn’t think so.
Instead of taking the full tournament hole-in-one prop (-245), I’ll improve the betting odds by picking the hole it’ll come on.
The 16th has surrendered 24 of the 34 aces in Masters history, and its Sunday hole location is traditionally cut at the bottom of the downslope, giving players the chance to roll one in close.
There have been 13 aces at the 16th since 2010, and I expect we’ll see another this weekend.
Make the Cut Parlay: Tiger Woods, Will Zalatoris, Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm (+275) • DraftKings Sportsbook

Tiger Woods has never missed the cut at The Masters and is going for a record 24th consecutive made cut. His injury concerns are legitimate, but his competitive nature tends to overcome any physical limitations.

Will Zalatoris has two top-six finishes in his two previous trips to Augusta. He has made the cut in five of seven events this season and is built to play golf on difficult tracks.
Jon Rahm has never missed the cut at The Masters in seven previous visits. The defending champion also hasn’t missed a cut at a major since 2019.
Brooks Koepka missed the cut at Augusta in 2021 and 2022 before finishing runner-up last year, but he was dealing with injuries and wasn’t the same player.
As long as Tiger gets to the weekend, this parlay should hit.
