Champions League Quarterfinal Best Bets
Draw No Bet: Real Madrid (+100)
DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 unit
Real Madrid have a strong chance of getting a result on Tuesday when Manchester City visit the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg of their quarterfinal tie.
Pep Guardiola’s squad is dealing with a cluster of injuries in defense, with Kyle Walker, Josko Gvardiol, and Nathan Aké all doubts to play.
Walker and Gvardiol have primarily featured as full-backs this season, and Aké can also deputize in that position when required.
Missing all three is particularly problematic against a Real Madrid side that will primarily attack down the left flank with Vinicius Jr. The Brazilian winger has elite pace, which City can’t match with Walker and Gvardiol out of the lineup.
If that wasn’t enough of an issue, Man City must travel to Madrid after visiting Crystal Palace on Saturday and will face a significant rest disadvantage.
Los Blancos have had eight days off since their most recent fixture, giving Carlo Ancelotti’s side time to recharge and focus on the challenge ahead.
Madrid are unbeaten in their last 21 home games, including a 1-1 draw against Man City last May, and have won nine times in their current 13-game unbeaten run.
They should establish a lead in the home leg, and even if they don’t, this UCL best bet voids if the match ends in a draw.
Barcelona to Advance (+105)

Barcelona find themselves in an intriguing tie against Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
They are slight underdogs in this matchup, but I like their chances to progress should they get midfielders Frenkie de Jong and Pedri back from injury in time for the first leg, which will take place at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Wednesday.
Xavi’s squad endured a difficult stretch during the winter months but has turned things around lately, winning eight times in its current 11-match unbeaten run.
PSG haven’t lost since Nov. 7, when they were defeated 2-1 in the UCL group stage at AC Milan, but Ligue 1 and the Coupe De France aren’t exactly great barometers of the team’s strength.
Still, Barcelona will have to find a way to quiet star forward Kylian Mbappé, who has scored 24 goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances and added six more in eight Champions League matches this campaign.
La Blaugrana are the more balanced side, and as long as they don’t let the 25-year-old run rampant, they should progress to the last four.
