DraftKings has plenty of experience entering new states and offering day of and pre-launch bonuses. The Game Day expects a deal that they have offered to users who sign up prior to launch.

Despite not being the same dollar amount as DraftKings NC, $100 in bonuses for an email address and more is worth it. Anytime a player can build a bankroll with none of their own funds is recommended.
That’s two sportsbooks that give you bonus funds for signing up. Let’s talk about more.
BetMGM North Carolina Pre-Registration Promo
One of the entities synonymous with sports entertainment, BetMGM North Carolina is entering NC with an offer that requires nothing more than a few minutes of your time.
BetMGM is likely to offer to new users that pre-register. The Game Day expects a promo code to be attached to a pre-registration window such as GAMEDAYLAUNCH or GAMEDAYNC, since we’re speculating.
If you’re a North Carolina resident and you miss out on an early sign-up bonus, look for BetMGM NC to offer a bonus bet offer with something like a $5 wager, like their national offer is currently, or a $1,500 first bet insurance token.
bet365 North Carolina Pre-Registration Promo
The top international sportsbook is expanding its presence in America by joining North Carolina. offer with a $1 wager.
The offer doesn’t potentially end there. Users that sign up early have been included in an opportunity for bonus funds based on a sporting event happening soon after launch.
When bet365 launched in Kentucky, pre-registered users were also given $10 in bonus bets for each touchdown scored in the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game that took place on their launch date, September 28, 2023.
The bonuses were capped at $50, but a max payout of $415 in bonuses for a $1 bet is elite.
The one stipulation with this pre-registration offer was new users had to deposit $10 and place a $1 wager on launch day. Simple enough.
bet365 NC will likely require a promo code, so keep your eyes peeled.
Caesars North Carolina Pre-Registration Promo
The top name in sports entertainment has been in North Carolina for a few years thanks to a partnership with tribes located in western N.C. That will not prohibit Caesars Sportsbook North Carolina from offering an early sign-up promo.
In previous launches, Caesars has offered pre-registered players with a $20 deposit. The bonuses will be distributed in four increments - $25 on launch day, and $25 each of the following three weeks.
While this offer is not a lump sum, four cracks at wagering for a $20 deposit is a strong payout. It also helps the account stay funded.
There are two operators that have not entered a new state as currently constructed.
Fanatics North Carolina Pre-Registration Promo
Formerly PointsBet, Fanatics Sportsbook North Carolina will join NC looking to set roots after successful transitions in states where PB was available (and still is).
The big question is how Fanatics plans on enticing signups ahead of March 11 because their previous offer under the PointsBet moniker gave users $200 in bonus bets.
In state launches such as Maryland, users also gained access to another bonus the day sports betting went live.
Fanatics is currently offering new users the ability to convert daily bets into FanCash, which allows users to cash in for bonus bets or use for clothes, accessories, and more through their Fanatics Shop.
It’s a great offer if you want to unlock savings while online shopping, or for the occasional bonus bet.
It is unlikely their current national offer will be a pre-registration offer, but take advantage of whatever it ends up being, especially if it mirrors any of the above offers.
ESPN Bet North Carolina Pre-Registration Promo
Like Fanatics, ESPN Bet North Carolina is new on the scene after changes. Penn Entertainment parted ways with Barstool Sports and their sportsbook, and agreed to a partnership with ESPN.
The worldwide leader in sports is using Penn’s technology for ESPN Bet, so anyone familiar with BS Sportsbook have some idea of how the app and website work.
Since ESPN and Barstool are different entities, it is difficult to know exactly where ESPN will go with a pre-registration offer. BS gave early sign-ups $100 in bonus bets, plus an offer on launch day.
But because ESPN Bet is a new operator, they truly are the biggest question mark heading into North Carolina sports betting.
Our Take On North Carolina Sports Betting Early Sign-Up Promos
Mobile and online sports betting is right around the corner in NC, which puts the onus on licensed operators to put their best offers out there in an attempt to gain new users.
Pre-registration offers are an excellent way to get new users, while also potentially enticing them upon launch.
The best way to look at pre-registration offers is this: Sign up for the sportsbooks that make the most sense to you and your bankroll.
Bonus funds are an excellent way to save your personal funds, especially if you’d prefer to not deposit any money into a specific sportsbook.
Thankfully, most operators understand the draw to getting bonuses for nothing, especially if it opens opportunities for new users to explore their product, gain knowledge and comfort, and continue on as a customer well after bonus funds are used.
Some books require a deposit, and that’s okay. You, the user, have the ultimate say on if that operator gets your money, no matter the deposit requirement. Do your homework.
Majority of North American sportsbooks won’t require an uncomfortable amount of money deposited to unlock bonuses, especially in a new state such as North Carolina.
Based on the offers expected above, $30 is all that is needed to get approximately $700 in bonus bets, plus the potential for offers on March 11.
