Freddie Freeman To Win 2021 NL MVP
Bet $20, Payout $260
Freddie Freeman is the defending NL MVP, winning the 2020 award thanks to a remarkable season in which he batted .341 to go along with a 1.102 OPS. He also slugged 13 home runs and drove in 53 RBI across just 60 games. Ozzie Albies is a clear option to avoid for this category, but both Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr. are appealing. Acuna had a down 2020 campaign, but we aren’t far removed from him hitting 41 home runs and stealing 37 bases in 2019.
2021 NL Cy Young
- Max Fried (+1800)
- Charlie Morton (+2000)
- Mike Soroka (+3000)
A lot would have to go wrong in the National League for any of these three players to be considered for this award. Mike Soroka only pitched 13 2/3 innings before tearing his Achilles in 2020, so it would seem unlikely that he will approach 200 innings this season. Morton likely won’t, either, at this late stage of his career. As impressive as Fried was last season with his 2.25 ERA and 3.10 FIP, his meager 22.3 percent strikeout rate is not usually what the voters are looking for from candidates for this award.

Marcell Ozuna To Lead MLB In RBI For 2021
Bet $20, Payout $260
As impressive as Freeman’s 53 RBI were last season, Ozuna surpassed him with 56. He’s in an ideal situation to drive in runs with Acuna and Freeman hitting in front of him, so it’s no surprise that he thrived in that department during his first season with the Braves. Even though Freeman has more appealing odds, I like the idea of placing a wager on Ozuna to finish first in this department.
2021 NL Rookie of The Year
- Ian Anderson (+800)
- Christian Pache (+1300)

Ian Anderson To Win 2021 NL Rookie of the Year
Bet $20, Payout $180
As highly regarded as Pache is, he’s known more for his glove than his bat. That will make it difficult for him to win this award. Meanwhile, Anderson should be an important part of the Braves rotation after recording a 1.95 ERA and a 2.54 FIP across six starts last season. He’s never thrown more than 135 innings in a season, so the best-case scenario is probably him logging around 150 innings in 2021. Still, if he can post an ERA around 3.50 and rack up 10 to 12 wins on what should be one of the best teams in the National League, Anderson will likely be among the top candidates to win this award.

2021 NL East Winner

Atlanta Braves To Win 2021 NL East
Bet $20, Payout $47
The Braves have the same odds as the Mets to win the NL East, with the Nationals (+600) and Phillies (+850) far behind. While the Mets have loaded up under new owner Steve Cohen, the Braves are still a very talented team and they improved their starting rotation depth by bringing in Morton and Drew Smyly. Taking them to win the division again could prove to be a profitable wager.
