February 26 NBA DFS Picks: Choose Malcolm Brogdon For Fantasy Points

Last Updated: Feb 26, 2021

February 26 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 2/26/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Friday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

February 26 NBA DFS Picks

Indiana Pacers at Boston Celtics

MKF Contest: More or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Jaylen Brown, SF, Boston Celtics: Less Than 39.5 Fantasy Points

Brown is listed as a small forward on MKF but has been playing shooting guard recently, as Brad Stevens is going with a lineup featuring both Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson in the frontcourt, which shifts Jayson Tatum to the three. The matchup against the Pacers is a thorny one for twos of late, as Indiana has allowed the sixth-fewest MKF points per game (36.0) to the position over the last seven contests. The Pacers are also surrendering the fourth-lowest shooting road shooting percentage (44.7) for the season, and Brown has fallen short of the 39.5 benchmark in seven of the last nine games, and in 18 of 30 contests overall (including a tally of 33.4 vs. the Pacers on 12/27). While Brown is certainly capable of bouncing back from his poor 6-for-16 night against the Hawks on Wednesday, I can see him coming up a bit short of the total.

Malcolm Brogdon, PG, Indiana Pacers: More Than 36.5 Fantasy Points

Brogdon is averaging 39.5 MKF points per game for the season, eclipsing the 36.5 benchmark in 17 of 30 games overall and coming within three-tenths of an MKF point of an 18th instance. The Celtics have given up some productive fantasy efforts to point guards of late, and they’re allowing the fourth-most MKF points per game (50.8) to the position over the last 15. Boston is also yielding elevated 46.2 percent shooting to ones, and Brogdon hit his season average of 39.5 MKF points against the Celts in their Dec. 27 meeting.

Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers

MKF Contest: More Or Less (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 3x your Buy-in)

Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers: Less Than 30.5 Points

Lillard did put up 31 points in 36 minutes against the Lakers back on December 28, and he’s impressively hit at least that number in 16 of 30 games overall. He continues to see elevated usage during the ongoing absence of C.J. McCollum (foot) as well, but the Lakers present as a tough defensive unit that is allowing pedestrian 45.9 percent shooting at home, including just 34.4 percent from distance. Los Angeles is also surrendering a meager 43.4 percent shooting to point guards specifically, and with 31 points being a high mark to clear, I’m in the camp of Lillard falling at least narrowly short against a team that has increasing urgency for a win.

LeBron James, SF, Los Angeles Lakers: More Than 29.5 Points

James totaled 29 points in his one prior meeting with Portland this season, and although he’s only scored 30 or more in seven of 33 games, three of them have come within Anthony Davis’ current five-game absence due to an Achilles injury. With Davis naturally still out Friday, James, who boasts a 33.7 percent usage rate without his teammate, could vault over this benchmark, especially against a Portland team that allows 116.5 points and 48.4 percent shooting (including 38.7 percent from three-point range) on the road. Furthermore, with Los Angeles now on a four-game losing streak, LeBron could certainly take matters into his own hands offensively even more than usual.
