Last Updated: Apr 2, 2021

April 2 NBA DFS Picks on Monkey Knife Fight: Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) combines elements of daily fantasy sports and traditional prop betting to offer a unique array of contests daily for a multitude of sports, including 4/2/21 NBA DFS Plays.

With NBA season in full swing, MKF enhances the enjoyment of the hardwood with exciting opportunities each night to win cash based on your knowledge of some of the league’s top players.

The Game Day breaks down two MKF contests daily that we feel have profit potential. With Friday’s slate featuring plenty of big names, here’s a closer look at some opportunities involving some of the most offensively explosive players in action:

April 2 NBA DFS Picks

Star Shootout, Early Games

MKF Contest: More Or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Pascal Siakam, PF, Toronto Raptors (vs. Golden State Warriors): More Than 44.5 Fantasy Points

Siakam will take the floor without Kyle Lowry (foot) on Friday and boasts a 26.1 percent usage rate when both his teammate and the traded Norman Powell are unavailable this season. The big man has already eclipsed this benchmark in 13 games this season, and a matchup versus a Warriors team that brings a significant bump in pace for Toronto and that’s allowing the fifth-highest offensive efficiency (26.5 percent) to power forwards certainly sets the stage for him to do it again. Golden State also surrenders the seventh-most MKF points per game to fours (45.8), strengthening Siakam’s case.

Julius Randle, PF, New York Knicks (vs. Dallas Mavericks): Less Than 44.5 Fantasy Points

The Mavericks rank in the top half of the league in defensive efficiency and have allowed the seventh-fewest MKF points per game to power forwards (42.3), including the sixth fewest (41.0) in the last 15 games. Randle has fallen short of this benchmark on 22 occasions this season, while the Mavericks check in allowing Western Conference-low 44.9 percent shooting, the fewest assists (22.0), fourth-fewest steals (6.4) and second-fewest blocks (3.8) per away contest, all numbers that imply they could cut off multiple paths to an elite fantasy night for Randle.

Milwaukee Bucks at Portland Trail Blazers

MKF Contest: More Or Less, Fantasy Points (Pick 2/2 correctly to win 2.5x your Buy-In)

MKF NBA Fantasy Points Scoring System:

  • Point= +1 point
  • Assist= +1.5 points
  • Rebound= +1.2 points
  • Steal= +3 points
  • Block= +3 points
  • Turnover= -1 point

Giannis Antetokounmpo, PF, Milwaukee Bucks: More Than 53.5 Fantasy Points

Antetokounmpo has actually fallen short of this benchmark in four straight games, yet he’s exceeded it in 26 of 44 contests overall, including 14 road games. The big man put up only 33.8 MKF points against the Blazers his first time seeing them this season, but that came over just 26 minutes in a Milwaukee blowout at Fiserv Forum. Friday’s game at Moda Center should be a lot more competitive, especially considering Milwaukee has been somewhat inconsistent of late. The Blazers also come in allowing the third-highest shooting percentage (47.9), third-most rebounds (55.5) and sixth-most assists (25.4) per home game, furthering Giannis’ chances at a fruitful fantasy night.

Damian Lillard, PG, Portland Trail Blazers: Less Than 44.5 Fantasy Points

The Bucks have been one of the toughest teams in the league versus point guards when Jrue Holiday has been healthy, allowing the fourth-lowest offensive efficiency (23.7 percent) to ones for the season. Lillard has fallen short of 44.5 MKF points on 20 occasions this season, including six of the last seven games, and his recent troubles with offensive efficiency (37.0 percent shooting in last five games) could be exacerbated by the pedestrian 42.8 percent shooting Milwaukee is allowing to point guards for the campaign. It’s also worth noting the Bucks don’t typically allow ones to boost their fantasy production through visits to the charity stripe either, as they’re facilitating the fifth-fewest free-throw attempts (4.4) per contest to the position.
